Centre for Entrepreneurship and Evaluation Development (CEED) is a Business Accelerator, Management Consulting, Research, and Impact Measurement Platform that is committed to the holistic development of marginalized groups, advancing and supporting the spirit of youth and women entrepreneurship and growing businesses to become sustainable, scalable, and investment ready. CEED supports women and youth-led MSMEs by providing them with training, mentorship and coaching, technical assistance services in M&E, ESG, capacity building and linkages to facilitate financing, participation and collaboration for  growth.

OUR PROJECTS

Young Women Leaders Program

CEED in partnership with YMCA Ghana delivered Gender Equality and leadership training to sharpen skills, strengthen voices to participate in active citizenship, inclusion and governance for amplified agency and impact of young women’s contribution from the various regional YMCAs offices across the country.

YOUTH BASELINE, OPERATIONAL RESEARCH, CAPACITY AND COMPETENCY AND M&E TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

Conducted a baseline for Power to Youth Programme that connects Ghana to 6 other implementing countries with a strong focus on southern leadership and a principle of co-creation. CEED document evidence meant for raising awareness on the effects of harmful practices (child marriage, “kayayei” FGM, unintended pregnancy and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBVs) in the Northern part of Ghana and the country as whole. The data reflect the realities of youth and adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in their development and transition into adulthood.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (METAP)

METAP is a flagship program by CEED that is providing TA services in M&E and Impact Management to youth social justice and entrepreneurship programs to meaningfully address gender inequality and promote inclusion and intersectionality. The initiative developed framework for monitoring, evaluation and learning of Youth Initiatives Small Grants (YISG) grantes, a Norsaac powered by their Power to Youth programme. The initiative has equipped youth initiatives with tools and strategies to lead evidence based advocacy for policy accountability

AFRICAN YOUTH LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP CONVENING

AYLAC is a Pan African Youth Leadership and Entrepreneurship Convening ( AYLEC) co-created by CEED and Inspirational Leadership Development Centre, Nigeria which mobilize youth across African countrie and equips them with relevant leadership skills and information for the social economic and advance of good governance in Africa, The initiative was first hosted in partnership with the Governments of Rwanda and Kenya and in Ghana in 2024 and coming up in Zambia in July 2025.  AYLEC “The African We Want: Fostering Youth Leadership, Unity, and Sustainable Development Beyond Now” is committed to delivering greater impact by convening Young Africa Social Change Leaders, Social Entrepreneurs, Academicians, Researchers, Development Partners, International Organizations, Media, and all relevant stakeholders across Africa as ongoing convening to accelerate youth civic engagement and promotion of governance.

BRIDGING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE FOR INCLUSIVE SUPPLY CHAIN PARTICIPATION

Assadaqaat Community Finance (ACF) in partnership with Centre for Entrepreneurship and Evaluation Development (CEED), will design and jointly execute the project “Bridging the Digital Divide for Inclusive Supply Chain Participation”: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Ghana. The project addressed digital skills gaps to significantly contribute to increasing access to digital business tools, and e-commerce solutions to strengthen operations and capabilities of women entrepreneurs in Ghana. The beneficiary women and youth entrepreneurs were quipped with the necessary digital literacy skills to enhance their capabilities and improve participation in local and international supply chains/ markets through training, mentoring, coaching, trade shows and diaspora networking engagements to amplify urgency in the digital and AI space.

THOUGHT LEADERS COLLABORATIVE CONVENING: ENHANCING FINANCIAL LITERACY & DIGITAL FINANCIAL INCLUSION FOR WOMEN-LED MSMES, AND MARGINALIZED GROUPS

CEED is partnering with Stellar Development Foundation established a consortium of partners as thought leaders collaborative to engage an create equitable access to global financial system via blockchain technology and AI to accelerate financial literacy education and uptake of digital financial services and products by women and youth led MSMEs. Key takeaways included:

1. Identified barriers limiting the effectiveness of organizations and service providers.
2. Brainstorm transformative opportunities to improve financial literacy and access for women-led MSMEs.
3. Strengthen institutional infrastructure for implementing solutions.
